Department Profile
The department was elevated
from the ancillary to main level in 1964. The department Evening
section was started 1984.
M.Sc., Physics is
started from the academic year 2007-2008. A separate lab for
M.Sc., with equipments worth of 10 lakhs was opened by Regional
Joint Director for Collegiate Education, Trichy on 21.08.2007.
The number of intake for M.Sc., is twenty. Books worth of Rs
50,000 is added to the already excisting library
books.
