ILANTHOODHU
We feel proud to
say that ours is the only college in Tamil Nadu where students have been publishing a literary magazine continuously for more than 17 years. For every semester atleast one issue is released. The magazine carries college news, poems, essays, stories and other articles. Talented students form the editorial board. One staff member acts as the co-ordinator. The magazine is completely brought out by students. They
collect articles from students and select the articles for publication. Proof reading, printing, getting advertisement all these works are done only by the editorial board. The magazine copies are issued to staff and students at a very nominal
price. At the end of each year a function is conducted with eminent writers / journalists as chief guests. We are proud to say that the following people have graced the annual function by

Journalist Nakkeeran Gopal.
Ilanthoodhu was adjudged the best magazine brought out by college students by "Sinthanaiyalan" and "Dinamalar". Dinamalar gave the first prize of Rs.1,500/- to our Ilanthoodhu.
COLLEGE MAGAZINE - PEKAK
To bring out the latent talents of the students and
to give them scope for creative expression, the college publishes an annual magazine
entitled PEKAK. The magazine is also a mirror of the activities of the College Union and
the affiliated Associations. An Editorial Board is constituted by the Principal every year.
The Secretary of the College Union will be a member of the Editorial Board.
'MAYUR' RESEARCH JOURNAL
A research journal entitled 'MAYUR' has been launched by the college with the objective
of motivating the student research scholars and teachers in research and to create a forum
to publish their findings.The journal publishes research articles,Short communication and
review articles in Science and humanities.
GLOWBUS
A Glowbus magazine has been launched by the SWIFT Students of Computer science with the objective
of motivating the student in IT field. The Magazine publishes IT articles and Short computer
program and commands for computer related problems.
SWIFT-Students' Wing of Information Technology
A students' wing of all Computer Science Students is decimating
nowledge among themselves by way of conducting seminars of the need of the hour and also Quiz
and other Competitions on latest topics. This wing is run by student members of the
outgoing MCA-Batch Co-ordinated by the faculty members.
GLOWBIO
A Glowbio magazine has been launched by Department of BioInformatics with the objective
of motivating the student in BioIinformatics field.
