The College is a recognized study centre  of the Indira Gandhi National Open University Reg.No 2508. Regular students and those who do not get admission to certain courses in the regular college can join the following courses provided in this  study centre by applying separately to The Co-ordinator, IGNOU centre 2508, A.V.C.College, Mayiladuthurai, Mannampandal - 609 305, Tamil Nadu . The College offers a Certificate course in Spoken English.
